THE DESIGNER

Since I was a little girl I’ve always had a passion for fashion. I used to create clothing with sheets or any fabric I would find around the house and model my designs to my parents. To this day, nothing has changed. I had the opportunity to study Fashion Design in Caracas, Venezuela and then furthered my studies in Fashion Merchandising in Bogotá, Colombia.

 

 

I’ve always been drawn to wear comfortable clothing to go out anywhere, from school to grocery shopping and from work to running errands. Being active, participating in sports, going to the gym, eating healthy and living a healthy lifestyle has always been in my DNA. However, even though I was wearing active wear I never felt 100% comfortable in it because I thought I didn’t look put together and that was something I didn’t want to reflect.

 

 

Three years ago I created ALTEREGO ATHLEISURE, premium activewear that made me feel comfortable, stylish and beautiful. After extensive research around the subject I got familiar and excited with a new trend that was conquering runways. Brands like Lululemon, Nike, and Adidas started to incorporate athleisure into their product lines. What I love about athleisure is that it is casual, comfortable clothing designed to be suitable both for exercise and everyday wear.

 

 

I knew I had the need for athleisure wear and know that there are plenty of women, just like me, that are professional multitaskers that seek comfortable but stylish clothing to help them feel ready to conquer any activity.

 

 

My principal motivation is to inspire women to have an active and healthy lifestyle always looking beautiful and that’s why I share my knowledge and creativity through my designs.
